Today has been pretty uneventful so far. I'm trying to eat a lot healthier, so I hit the grocery store for some berries, greens and veggies. I also picked up one of Jason Wright's books – The Wednesday Letters – that I bought Friday. He had a marathon signing session yesterday at the book store, so while I was running around I picked that up too. I'm excited to start reading it! Here's the link to his fan page, if you'd like to check out some of his work. He has a new book coming out soon, too.
Here's another card I made on my "horrible no good very bad day." Mike & I agreed we'd like to be on this sailboat!
I really love the Cherry Cobbler/Marina Mist/Whisper White combination. It's just so nautical! I put it all together, but didn't have the punched Cherry Cobbler layer under the designer paper. It was ok, but just needed something between the paper and the Marina Mist card stock. So I stuck that in today. I was thrilled that I could slide the card stock in without having to "unlayer" everything.
Here are the supplies, and then I'm fixing dinner. YES!!! I'm fixing dinner. We're having tuna (or salmon….some kind of fish) with asparagus. So far today I've been pretty healthy. Now I just need to get up early and either hit the treadmill or pavement. Have you noticed the older you get the harder you have to work to take care of your body? *sigh*
Thanks for stopping by!
