Fabulous Mango Florets

I had the best time today!  Sandy, Liz and I stamped from 10 this morning until about 4 this afternoon, and we all got so much done.   Liz had some stamp sets we all wanted to borrow, and Sandy brought a new embossing folder and powder.  Fun!!

Here's one I made with Fabulous Florets (from the Summer Mini catalog).

I stamped the flowers with Perfect Plum and Melon Mango ink and cut them out before adding them over the leaves and stems (Wild Wasabi).  You can just see the embossing from the Flower Garden folder on the right side.  And I love using the tiny scallops from the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch as a border.  They're so tiny and delicate.

I stayed up way too late last night and got up much too early – so I'm heading to bed before midnight tonight, I think.  I have a few things to catch up on, and then I'm off.  Thanks for stopping in!

Stamps:  Fabulous Florets
Ink:  Wild Wasabi, Melon Mango, Perfect Plum
Paper:  Melon Mango, Whisper White, Garden Green
Other:  Stampin' Dimensionals, dotted scallop ribbon border punch, Whisper White organza ribbon, Flower Garden embossing folder, Big Shot

Yep, we had great fun today. We worked our fingers off but came away with many great looking cards. Buffy, I am so happy I CASED your Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzaz with the Flower Garden embossing folder — I’m sure you will put that one on your blog soon. Next on my CASE list is the one above. I really love the flower you used from the new Fabulous Florets set. And yummy colors! Will definitely do a craft day again soon with you and Liz. —Sandy
