Today was one of those days! I had a music job this morning, then a "real estate" job this afternoon and we're going to see Jon's new band tonight. In between, I had to cook meals for the dog (yeah…he has lots of allergy issues, so we cook his meals ourselves so we can be sure he isn't getting additives, wheat and other stuff that will cause him to break out), file taxes for the boys (nothing like waiting until the last minute!) and lots of other little chores – like dishes and laundry. Mike usually grabs the laundry before I can do it, which is nice. But this time, I had a few tops I really wasn't ready to give up to a Barbie doll, and for some reason, hanging something up instead of throwing everything in the dryer is a totally foreign concept to my guys. I figured if I wanted to save my clothes, I'd better grab them – and the washer! – while I could.
I did squeeze in a few minutes to make a quick card, though. I really, really like the "Touch of Kindness" set. It's so much fun and really easy to make a fast card with.
This is fairly easy to figure out. I wanted to use the cat as well as the birds, so I just stamped him in StazOn on the card. The designer paper is from the hostess Level 1 pack, and I added a rhinestone to the tag on the cat's collar. You can't really see it, but the fountain and water drops have smooch "Moonlight" accent ink on them (and the cat's collar).
Here are the supplies, and then I'm heading out to hear Jonny! Have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping in.
