When I first started my blog, I scanned all my projects into the computer. Of course, that meant 3-D projects or anything larger than 8-1/2" x 11" couldn't be blogged. And anything with glitter drove Mike crazy. (But it made the clients he sent glittered faxes and copies to feel special!!)
Something is wrong with my camera. It won't read any data disks. I thought maybe it was just my disk, because my computer sometimes won't pick it up either. But Mike's wasn't readable, either. So…until I either A)get the camera fixed or B)get a new one (and I really don't want a new camera; I like the one I have), I'll be back to scanning.
I bought the Sweet Stitches fabric brads that are in the Occasions mini catalog, but didn't really get anything to use them with. I dithered for a few days, and thought about giving them away, but then – BAM! I just remembered I downloaded the Oh Sew digital set – also from the Occasions mini catalog. It has a stamp brush set and paper. And this cute little girl is only available as a digital image and a rub-on.
I printed her on my ink jet, but for workshops, I'm going to use the laser. I think it will be a little easier to color without the ink bleeding. I was very careful, and the darker colors worked great. I used markers directly on the image except for her skin. The Blush Blossom marker was a bit dark, so I used a blender pen with it.
Here are the supplies, and then I'm off to bed! Thanks for stopping by. I'll show more swaps from my talented friends next week (and the next and the next!!).
