I got the greatest idea from Stephanie McKinnon. She sent a note with her swap, but I think I left it downstairs. The idea of the embossing and sponging was originally from Jackie Topa, but the layout and colors were Stephanie's.
Isn't that gorgeous? And the cool thing is she embossed and sponged on Tempting Turquoise card stock, and the color just "popped!" This seemed crazy to me, so I had to try it. I CASEd her card, and this is what I ended up with.
The Concord Crush scallop circle started as Tempting Turquoise, and it really did take the color well! I embossed the image from "Artistic Etchings" with white powder on Tempting Turquoise card stock, then sponged a little Rich Razzleberry in the center and a lot of Concord Crush around the outside and edges. Then I punched with the 2-3/8" scallop circle punch and layered it to a Whisper White circle (from the Circles #2 die). Since my main image was a little smaller than Stephanie's, I used a larger greeting. I punched it with the decorative label die, then layered it to another decorative label punch. (Tip: Punch 2 of the bottom layer, then cut each in half – one vertically and one horizontally. Then layer these pieces under the top punched image.)
So there you have it – another swap from the water cooler. It's been fun "CASE-ing" them. My friends are incredibly talented!

Verrrrrrry nice card. Good colors and totally charming. I love the message. (I will be at the Studio a little early tomorrow to set out refreshments. I am bringing Millie with me – she doesn’t have a ride.)
