Holy Moley! What's up with this wind? I could have saved 10 minutes this morning and just let God dry my hair when I went outside to head to the workshop. But I may never have gotten it untangled. Fortunately, none of my supplies blew out of my bag, because I wouldn't have seen them again. They would have been two counties away before I even got to the car.
I wasn't sure what to do for our "3-D project" today. Valentine's Day is over and Easter is a bit far away. So St. Paddy's Day it is! I had a few heart treat cups left, so here's what we made.
These are actually very simple once you've made one. My problem with the treat cups is I usually make a trap door to get the candy out, then forget to make an escape hatch in the card part, so the candy is locked in the card unless you rip it apart. For this one, I took my cutter kit and made a little "x" with the perforating tool in the back of the heart covering the treat cup opening.
It was very difficult to find green candy. I sent Wesley to the store, but the green M&Ms aren't out yet. Or maybe there are too many people with German and English ancestors here and too few Irish! But my little problem solver selected two kinds of candy he liked (jelly beans and Sweetarts) and he and Steph picked out the green ones for me. Aren't they sweet?
Here are the supplies. Have a wonderful weekend!
