It's snowing!!! It started just as we were leaving for our choir rehearsal tonight, and it's still doing something. I just stuck my head out the door, and it sounds a little loud for snow, so I'm thinking it's more like sleet or a "wintry mix." I'm supposed to drive to Staunton tomorrow morning for a meeting. I'm thinking I may be on a 2-hour delay!!
I don't make that many valentines, so I don't buy a lot of valentine sets. I got Love Bandit last year (which I absolutely love, and it's available as a digital download for the digital crafting system, My Digital Studio!! You can see it here.), but I didn't buy any new Valentine sets this year. Sandy got Valentine Defined, though, and I'm really liking it! Those little flamingos are really cute! And since we were using the clear mounts, I stamped all the images at one time. Pretty cool, huh?
I stuck all the stamps to one block, then inked them with markers and stamped. A little shadow under the tree and birds and a punched heart from glimmer paper and that's it. Ok, a punch along the bottom and a background. It was pretty simple, though.
Here are the supplies, and then I'd better hit the sack. 6 a.m. will come much too early. Even though I'm pretty sure I'm not leaving here until around 9 or 10 (or after the ice melts!), I'll still need to be up to see what's going on weather-wise. (Yawn!! Icy mornings are good "sleep in" days!)
Have a great day, and thanks for stopping in.
