Mike & I never put Christmas lights up outside. I think it goes back to my childhood. Dad maybe put up lights a few times, but mostly (especially in the 70s) he said he wasn't going to pay the electric bill for other people to enjoy. And I guess that attitude stuck with me, but I sure like to enjoy it when other people pay the bill! We saw these lights tonight near the post office, and I had to take a picture. I love my new phone; it even takes better pictures! I can't believe how clear and sharp this turned out.
And now for the other extreme – I used my Easter Blossoms set again with some Rose Red and Pear Pizzazz, and it really makes me feel a little warmer.
I love this set, and the paper and the embossing folder "frame." It kind of makes me forget there's snow on the ground and Monday is the beginning of winter!
Here are the supplies –
Stamp Set: Easter Blossoms
Ink: Rose Red
Paper: Springtime Vintage designer series paper; Rose Red, Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzazz card stock
Other: Big Shot, Framed Tulips embossing folder, Vintage Trinkets, stampin' dimensionals, Pear Pizzazz seam binding, linen thread, designer label punch*, paper piercing tool, mat pack
Yes, I did use this! The card stock fit in the punch perfectly – except for the rounded parts – so it cut straight across with mini "ticket corners." Pretty cool, huh?
Thanks for stopping in!
Aaaaah, maaaaaan, this card is gorgeous. I want this set sooooo bad! But I got the blossoms first and will have to wait until after January 4th to get his one. But I can’t wait. I am so done with Christmas cards and Christmas colors and ready for spring. Going to CASE this one for sure!

First, I thought – I’ve been waiting for “her” to appear on your blog!
Second – I thought – that’s not the punch she used – then read your explanation
Third – it’s just beautiful – might have to get this one! Liz
