Stylish Butterflies

I've been playing around with techniques for our class this week, and decided on this one.  I used it a few weeks ago and really loved it. I discovered it on another demo's blog; I think it was Tammy White.

I love the way it makes the butterflies shimmer.  And I wanted to add a background, so I used Elements of Style with markers.  I stamped twice with Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant, then Perfect Plum and Regal Rose.

Well – NCIS is on, so this is going to be a short post.  Nothing much happened today anyway.  Well, Mike decided to slice his hand at work, so that was a little exciting.  He didn't go to the emergency room, and it could have used stitches.  I offered to stitch it up for him, but, thankfully, he declined.  That would have been a really nice Frankenstein scar!

Here are the supplies for the card –
Stamp sets:  Elements of Style, Tiny Tags
Ink:  Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose classic; Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Regal Rose stampin' write markers; Frost White shimmer paint, Stampin' pastels
Paper:  Perfect Plum, Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant, Regal Rose, Glossy White card stock
Other:  Sponge daubers, Jewelry tag punch, linen thread, Whisper White organza ribbon, mini glue dots, piercing tool, mat pack

Thanks for stopping in!  Hopefully I'll have some Occasions mini and SAB samples for you to see soon!
