Focusing on Christmas

Yesterday was one of the best Thanksgivings ever!  We were staying at our house in the mountains, so Mike & I fixed dinner for the four of us.  The house is in a very quiet area (at least, compared to home!), and there's no high speed internet for all, so the boys usually don't go with us.  But they were happy to come for the afternoon.  And they brought the dog.

We had a wonderful time.  The steps to the second level and to the basement are a little steeper than normal, so our dog was a little hesitant to use them.  So he stayed with us the whole time – and was so good.  He didn't beg for food and stayed away from the table the whole time.

After lunch, the boys played air hockey and pool while Mike & I took the big boy on a walk.  I say walk; it was more of a "3 steps, then sniff" kind of thing.  We were gone over an hour and went about two blocks, I think.  Not much exercise, but nice to have some fresh air!

I finally got to stamp something about 10:30 – but since I brought stamping supplies, I had to use them.

I used my new "Tags Til Christmas" set and the new decorative label and small oval punches from the Holiday mini catalog.  I decided to bring the Candy Cane Christmas and Deck the Halls designer paper, so it was easy to select card stock and ink colors to bring with me.  I already had a color scheme.

Here are the supplies.  Don't forget…The 1/2 price starter kit and the Online Spectacular both end Tuesday, so take advantage.  And you can still purchase handmade holiday bundles.  Information about any of the promotions can be found on my web site.  I found out that while I can link you directly to a page on my web site, it's very easy to send you to someone else's if you've been visiting other sites.  And while I totally support my fellow SU! demos….well, I'm not going to purposely send you away.  So just click the "Promotions" tab and it will take you to all three specials.

Have a wonderful day!  Thanks for stopping in.
