October is going to be a busy month! We're having lots of classes and clubs – and something new!!
Die of the Month Club
Each month, I'll offer a Big Shot "die of the month." Orders need to be placed through me. To qualify, I'll need your order by the 15th of the month. There's no membership requirement, but they can't be part of a club order. After you've bought five "dies of the month," you'll get a free gift! If we have enough orders to have a workshop order ($150 or more), we'll have a drawing for hostess gifts and hostess credits. (That's why they can't be combined with stamp club orders.)
October's die will be the Flower Folds Die, # 115970. It's $42.95, but if you order it by 5 p.m. EST, October 15, you can have it for $40.00 (plus shipping/tax). Remember – you have to order through me (not online) to get the discount and a "ticket" for the drawing. AND I'll show you how to make cute little tea light candle holders just in time for Christmas. There's so much you can do with this die; you'll be able to make gifts for friends and family and save lots more than the cost of the die! So – don't dally around. Contact me today to place your order. I'll place the order at 6 p.m. EST on October 15.
Big Shot Class
I'm going to have a Big Shot class on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m., and Saturday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. You'll need to RSVP so I'll have your paper cut. You can call or e-mail me. If you bought your Big Shot from me and haven't had a class yet, this one's free! If you fall into the other category, the class will be $10.
Owl Punch Class
If you want to learn neat ways to use the new Owl punch, we'll have an Owl Punch class on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 11 a.m., and Saturday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. Again, you'll need to RSVP, and the class will be $12. If you bring your own punch, it's $10. If you order the punch by October 16, it will be here for the class. This will take the place of technique class this month, but you'll be making three very cool projects instead of one project and two technique cards.
October's Club Workshops will be Oct. 13 (at 11 a.m.) and Oct. 16 (at 10 a.m.)
To RSVP or for more information, either call or e-mail me. Remember, classes will need to be paid in advance.
Ok – I finally narrowed my swaps down. I have a couple that use the Merry Crittermas set, too. I'll post one of those tomorrow.
Here are "close-ups," and supply lists –
This one uses the cards I made yesterday, but I pulled
off the ornament and used the skaters from Winter Post instead. I like
it a lot better. Karen had an idea for the one yesterday to put the
poinsettia on the bottom. Yep – that's what the problem was. It was a
little top heavy. I think I'll add a sentiment, since I'm not sure it
can handle being torn apart again to move the papers around. Or stamp a
poinsettia to add to the bottom half. (That was also Karen's idea.)

This is my favorite! If we want, we can leave a full card for the Ronald McDonald House Charities to use, and this is the one I'm leaving.
