Tangerine Daffodil Crush

Doesn't that sound like the name of a tropical drink or something?  Actually, it's the colors used on this card.  Janine Tinklenberg had a really cute card a week or so ago (well, all her cards are "gojus," but this particular one was a week ago…) and I used a modified version of her sketch for this card.

Carrot_bunny I love watercoloring – with markers, crayons, pencils, chalk, ink pads and refills – doesn't matter.  I just love it.  Diana Gibbs has a cute button on her blog with this little boy saying, "I Freakin' Love Coloring."  He's so cute, 'cause you can tell he's really getting into it.

I used stamp pads and an aqua painter and blender pen for this.  For some reason, my StazOn didn't dry instantly, so when I started coloring the flower pot, it pulled StazOn into the mix.  I kind of like it, though.  It "aged" the pot a little.

I have to get to the shower before guys start needing it, or I'll be late for the workshop today.  So here's a quickie supply list, and then I'm off.

Stamp Set:  The Nicest Things
Ink:  Jet Black StazOn; Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight classic
Paper:  Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Concord Crush, Whisper White card stock
Other:  Big Shot, Finial Press embossing folder, brads – brights, 1 3/4" circle punch, 1 3/8" scallop circle punch, mat pack, paper piercing tool
