This was on my "need to have" list of merchandise from the summer mini, but I took it off at the last minute. As you can see, I've added it back on. It's such a versatile set. You can stamp in VersaMark, then use Stampin' Pastels to color the images ("Poppin' Pastels"), you can ink the stamp with markers, you can stamp in a single color then sponge image around it or –
You can stamp with Watercolor Crayons.
I spritzed watercolor paper with a little water, then colored on the stamps with Watercolor Crayons and stamped on the damp paper. You can get a couple "stampings" out of each inking, and it looks very muted and pretty. I used More Mustard, Always Artichoke and Elegant Eggplant crayons for the flowers. For the butterflies, I inked in markers (Not Quite Navy and More Mustard) and then stamped on damp watercolor paper, which really ran the colors. Then I reinked the stamp in Not Quite Navy and, using a Stamp-a-ma-jig, overstamped the blob of color. When they were dry, I cut them out, then dunked them in VersaMark, and glittered them with Heat & Stick powder and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Before I finished, I spritzed the flower layer with Vanilla Shimmer smooch spritz.
Here's the complete list of supplies:

I think I'm going to head to bed. We got home around 3:30 or so last night this morning. There were a few things we had to unpack (like frozen and cold food) and a couple other things to take care of before we could call it a very long day, so it was about 5 a.m. before I got to bed. Even though I did sleep in a little, I didn't sleep well, so I think tonight's going to be a kind of early night. Vacation was fun, but I'm very happy to be home!
