This is my CASE of the card folder Sandy made. I think it's the coolest idea ever for packaging cards to give away.
This uses Shades of Spring designer series paper from the Occasions mini catalog – and you only have a couple more weeks to order from it! The stamp is from Embrace Life. I think these blossoms look a little like Apple Blossoms, and since this will probably be a door prize for a luncheon at the Apple Blossom Festival, I thought it would be appropriate.
Here's a peek at the inside. It will hold ten cards and envelopes, but right now I only have two in it. I haven't made the cards yet; these are just two from my "stash."
This photo isn't as big, since the cards aren't new. I wrapped the inside of the pen with Shades of Spring paper, and the pockets are made with window sheets. I'll have larger photo when I finish making all the cards.
So – thanks, Sandy! This is a genius design. If things go well in the next couple days, I'll make a couple extras for birthdays and Mother's Day. And what a great gift this would be for a downline or really special hostess! You could even make it a teacher's gift, and put a note pad in one side and little notes for the teacher to write and send home in the other. The possibilities go on and on, but I won't!
Since it's Sunday, I'll give you a break from my "blathering." Oh – except to say, our dog is doing so well. His new vet prescribed lots of meds for him, and he's responding quite well – and quickly. They make him a little hyper (mostly at night) and something has given him gas, which is gross. I'm hoping this will soon pass – or stop passing, I guess. Anyway – his ears are clearing up and he seems to be scratching less, so we're thrilled.
