I made an Easter card for Dad and Mom, and she wanted to make one like it. So, here's the third one that we'll make at the workshops this month. Not only does it use the Abundant Hope set, but it also will help use up some of my Ballet Blue and Barely Banana card stock!
Wow – on my laptop, it looks turquoise! But it's really Ballet Blue. It's very simple and basic, because Mike was steaming shrimp while I was stamping, so I didn't have a huge amount of time!
Here are the supplies –
Stamp Set: Abundant Hope
Ink: Basic Brown, Barely Banana, More Mustard, Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Ballet Blue classic
Paper: Watercolor paper; Ballet Blue, Barely Banana card stock
Accessories: Circle fire rhinestone brads, aqua painter, So Saffron grosgrain, scallop trim border punch
I just finished all the projects for the week (except one that's due on Monday), so I am free for the rest of the weekend! Wooohooo!! Hoping my new Stampin' Success comes today so I can play with the new colors. I can't wait to see what they look like.
Our dear dog went to his new vet yesterday. He has a skin condition that the former vet said would be a lifetime thing. He gave him pills and said take 3 a day forever. Period. The new vet gave him a BUNCH of pills (we won't even talk about how much $$ it cost! Let's just say I hope those boys like peanut butter!) and Hoss is happy. The more pills he gets, the more cheese he gets to wrap them in. But it should be "fixed" in 2 months or so. Yay! He's such a sweetie; I hate to see him miserable.
