Vintage Vogue

This would be a perfect card for my mom to make, because it uses about 12 Stampin' Dimensionals.  I was looking at her stamping stash the other day and noticed she has many, many packs of SDs that haven't been opened.  (Hmmmm….I'm thinking "stocking stuffer for favorite daughter" here.  Hint, hint.)

This uses a new set from the Occasions Mini catalog, Vintage Vogue.  I didn't quite use every stamp in the set, but close!  I also used the new Shades of Spring designer series paper, which is absolutely gorgeous.  If you liked "Tea Party" last year, you'll love this one too.  The colors are So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Orchid Opulence and Chocolate Chip.  Doesn't that sound like spring?  It almost makes me feel warm.  It was about 28 degrees here this morning.  My dearest older son got up before anyone else and "stoked" the wood stove, so it's a balmy 78 degrees in the house.  (Maybe that's why I'm warm!)  Jon and Wes went to the farm and got some wood yesterday.  When Mike & I got home last night from running errands, Jon was cutting it up and had started a fire – and apparently he's taken over the duties of keeping the house warm. I have the best kids in the world!  Of course, I did make them a cheesecake last night…

Great card. Beautiful spring colors. Can’t wait to get the new punches. I didn’t do a preorder, can you believe it?
