Just Jawin’ with Razzleberry Lemonade

I actually made this card for Dad & Mom's anniversary (they hit 53 years this month!!), but I haven't given it to them yet.  I thought maybe I should make something a little more "romantic."  But, "You rock!" really expresses how I feel about my parents.  They're really an awesome pair.

This was pretty quick and simple.  (I had a "bought" card one time that said, "If you are what you eat, then I'm fast, cheap and easy."  That pretty much sums up my life.)  If I was going back and doing it over, I'd do a pennant cut on the Crushed Curry layer under the sentiment.  And add some brads or something on the bottom right corner.   And maybe try to get it straight in the scanner so it doesn't look crooked.  But this would be a great project for a beginner workshop, don't you think?

Here are the supplies:
Stamp set:  Just Jawing (I used the flower; as cool as my parents are, I don't think they'd understand if I     gave them an anniversary card with a skull on it.)
Ink:  Melon MamboPaper:  Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Whisper White card stock; Razzleberry Lemondade DSP
Accessories:  Stampin' Dimensionals

I just realized another reason I didnt' give this card to Dad & Mom.  As Jonathan would say, "I need to "fancy it up."  He's so cute.  He made some ravioli last night, and we were down to the last jar of marinara.  Although I've taught both boys how to make marinara sauce from real tomatoes and spices, it's a lot easier to open a jar.  Anyway, I was on the way to the store to buy some groceries, and that was on his list.  I asked if there was a special kind he wanted, and he said, no–he was going to "fancy it up" anyway.  Funny boy.

Nice job and I’m sure your parents will love it. Good to see something not too lovey-dovey.
