Another Anniversary Card

I know Dad & Mom would get "You Rock!" – but here's a more romantic card for their 53rd wedding anniversary.  After 53 years, they deserve something pretty, I think.  I haven't decided which card I'm going to give them; maybe they'll get both!

Movers_and_shapers_anniversary This is a CASE* of a CASE of a CASE.  Here's my inspiration; you can track it back if you want to see all of them.  I wanted to texture the front with the new Texturz plate, but my multi-purpose platform was packed for a class and I was too lazy to go upstairs, unpack it for one card, and then re-pack it for tomorrow.  (Sorry, Mom!)  So I used VersaMark and Kind & Caring Thoughts to create a background instead.

Here's the complete list of supplies:
Stamp Sets:  Kind & Caring Thoughts (hostess Level 3), All Holidays
Ink:  Ruby Red, VersaMark
Paper:  Pretty in Pink card stock; Bella Rose DSP (Retired)
Accessories: Heart punch, Heart to Heart punch, Eyelet border punch, Whisper White taffeta ribbon, mini glue dots, Big Shot, Movers & Shapers "heart" die, extended cutting plates

I'm not sure about the hearts around the heart.  It kind of looks like a spikey dog collar.  All the other samples had flowers, but – again – my flower die was packed and the other little flower punch I have (Boho Blossoms) needs to be sharpened and lubricated.  So…hearts it is!  I'll let you know what they think.

*CASE:  Copy and share everything

You are too funny…didn’t want to go get something. I don’t blame you! I would forget to take it to the workshop I am sure!
Very nice and much more romantic! :O) The little hearts kind of grow on you and I did not think spiky dog collar until you mentioned it! :O)

I like the hearts and didn’t even think anything like dog collar. I like the way you always are able to adjust to whatever — packed items, out of a color, etc. Shows flexibility and that is always a good thing. I liked yesterday’s sample too.

  3. This is very, very pretty! I’m sure they loved it!
