Here's the desk "ornament" I made for my office (actually, it's more of a cubicle). It's the first personal thing I've put in there. Guess I need to find some good pictures of the guys. They all seem to run when the camera comes out, though, so most of the pics I have of the boys (especially Wesley) are from ten years ago. Ah, well. They get that from my father.
This is made from Outback Coasters. I added a little black card stock on the bottom to cover the "outback.com" message. The stamp set is Echoes of Kindness – a Level 2 hostess set. And the colors (my favorite!!) are 2009-2010 In Colors. The scallop circles (die cut using the Bigz Scallop Circle die) are Soft Suede and the flower is colored in Dusty Durango, Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay. The back is covered in Soft Suede and Basic Black card stock that I textured and sponged to mimic the design of the coaster. It was a lot of fun, and I put it beside my phone to remind me to use kind words when people call (like I would be mean. HA!). I love our office, though. 99% of communication is by e-mail, so the phone rarely rings. The last two times were wrong numbers, I guess, because they hung up. Or I have a stalker.
That's it for today. Have a happy Monday!!
