Here's another card we're making at workshops this month. I just got my Scallop Circle and Scallop Circle #2 Big Shot dies, so, of course, we have to use them in workshops!
Stamp Set: Thoughts of Father
Ink: Jet Black StazOn, Not Quite Navy Classic, Watercolor Wonder Crayons (Rich Regals, Earth Elements)
Paper: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Tangerine Tango, Sahara Sand card stock
Accessories: Big Shot, Scallop Circle Die, Scallop Circle #2 die, Texturz Plate, Impressions Pad, Silicone Rubber, Whisper White grosgrain, So Saffron wide grosgrain, Aqua Painter, Jumbo Brads, 1 3/4" circle punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, hemp twine (natural), Crafter's Tool Kit
I also made a "desk ornament" that uses a little new (In Colors!) and a little old (Echoes of Kindness hostess set) – but my camera went along on the Tour de Cure bike ride today. Mike's riding in a fundraiser for the Diabetes Association (he's the team captain, of course, and they raised about 400% more than they promised! I'm very proud of that man), and my camera is a little easier to transport on a bike. And it also cost about 1/10 what his did, so if he crashes and lands on the camera, mine is easier to replace. It's just a road ride, though, so he shouldn't crash. When he mountain bikes, it's a totally different story. He's messed up assorted body parts on mountain bike courses.
So – I said all that to say….as soon as I can take a picture of my "creation," I'll post it. It uses Soft Suede, Dusty Durango and Bermuda Bay In Colors and Outback coasters. (Thank, Karen & Jennie, for keeping me supplied!) I always want to call the new blue, "Botany Bay," but, of course, that's on the other side of the world from Bermuda. Maybe that's why I used Outback coasters for the project, though….my mind is on Australia. I must be needing a good steak. Or a good Hugh Jackman movie.
Ok – my mind is working overtime and I'm rambling, so that's it for today.
