Happiness Is…..

…being back in my stamp room!  I made three cards in about an hour today.  It was wonderful!  I didn't realize how much I had missed it the past two weeks.

Here are two of them.  The third just wouldn't photograph well, so I'll scan it later and post it tomorrow.  These both use ideas I got from Stampin' Success, the monthly stamp magazine demonstrators get from Stampin' Up!  It's packed with all kinds of ideas.  You can get this, too – and becoming a demo is super easy right now.  For only $75, you can join Stampin' Up! with a special Scrapbooking Starter Kit.  But hurry.  The promo runs out tomorrow.  Contact me for a password, and you can sign up online.  As soon as you sign up, you'll get your demo ID, and you'll be able to access the demonstrator web site.  And don't forget the special Designer Paper/Textured Card Stock special!  Buy 3 and get a 4th free.  That ends tomorrow too, so get those orders in today.

Here are today's cards —

Embossed_thanks This is kind of a "free to make" card, because both stamps (Elegant Thank You and Flowers in Silhouette) were both free last month with orders from the Occasions mini catalog.

I just stamped the flowers on designer paper in VersaMark, then embossed them with white powder.  I love the effect!

Supplies:
Stamps:  Flowers in Silhouette, Elegant Thank You
Paper:  Urban Garden DSP; Baja Breeze, Basic Gray, Kiwi Kiss card stock
Ink:  VersaMark, Basic Gray
Accessories:  1 3/4" circle punch, Wide Oval punch, Scallop edge punch, stampin' dimensionals, embossing buddy, heat tool, white embossing powder

This one uses a lot of Sizzlets.  I cut the flowers using the Birds and Blooms sizzlets, then distressed the petals with my empressor stylus and some ink.

Supplies:
Stamp set:  Dear Friend
Ink:  Lovely Lilac
Paper:  Gable green, Barely Banana, Orchid Opulence, Lavender Lace; Walk in the Park DSP
Accessories:  Pewter Build-a-Brads, Stampin' Dimensionals, Birds & Blooms Sizzlet, Little Leaves Sizzlet, Texturz plate (eyelet), Impressions Pad, Silicone Rubber, Big Shot, Empressor Stylus, Crop-a-dile, Top Note Die

That's it for today.  I'll show you the other one tomorrow, but right now someone's waiting to watch a movie before the kids take over the TV again.  Have a great weekend!!
