I got my Matchbox die on Wednesday and had to play with it yesterday. I can't take credit for this idea. Lots of demos have already made one of these (with better results, but it was my first and I was in a time crunch. Sad.). But I love the idea, and it will be a great gift for my aunt's birthday.
Isn't that the cutest? You could put clips, safety pins, and other office items in it and keep it on your desk. Or you could use it to store tea in the kitchen. Or you could fill it with chocolate (my favorite idea). Each box will also hold 3 lip balms (not that anyone needs 12 at a time….)
Here's the top.
I didn't do a whole lot of embellishing, because I love the simplicity of the butterfly. And I was in a time crunch!
Here's the size of the matchbox compared to the little bureau. The cool thing about this die is you don't need much adhesive. Just a little dab on the wrap part; the bottom box holds itself together. And the die comes with tags!
Today, I'm going to try to make a few necklaces out of the Hodgepodge Hardware to sell at a business show in two weeks. (I'd better get busy!) And, of course, I have a few more thank you cards to make and a technique class to prepare for. So why am I sitting here at the computer???? Have a wonderful weekend!
I want so much to get the Big Shot and this matchbox die! It’s got to be the first thing on my list! You’re such an inspriation to me!

Love it. I need to get some time alone with my Big Shot this week. I’m having withdrawal! Too busy scrapping a project for my son’s school right now.

I just used my Matchbox die for the first time yesterday. I love your set of drawers. I did not get that far. Just a box with some nuggets inside.
