Ok, they're not really fresh flowers. They're flowers made out of Fresca cans. Our workshops this week use the scallop circle punch a lot. We're making the "flower pot" cards, and for the flowers, I'm using scallop circles. Anyway – I decided I'd better sharpen up the old punch since it would be getting a workout. I had a Fresca can already cut up, so I started punching on it. I usually use the silver side of the can, but one of the scallops fell right side up. Oh, man. Fresca cans are cool! Who knew? All those cool circles and dots, and in one of my favorite combos – Tempting Turquoise and Green Galore. Guess I just hadn't paid that much attention.
I used the sketch from the Mojo Monday challenge last week. Here's the supply list (all Su!):
Stamp Sets: Seeing Spots, One of a Kind
Ink: Basic Black, Green Galore classic
Paper: Gable Green, Green Galore, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: Certainly Celery grosgrain, scallop circle punch, 3/4" circle punch, 1" circle punch, Crop-a-dile, jumbo brads, scallop edge punch, mini glue dots
That's it for today. Hope your weekend was glorious. Our weather was so nice – warm and sunny. I love being able to turn the heat off for the summer.
