New Pink Shoes

I loved this set when I saw it in the catalog.  I think the sayings are what hooked me.   This one says, "Whether you're a good witch or a bad witch, it's all about the shoes!"  Yep.  Bad shoes can turn me into a bad witch in a minute.  Or, at least, after a few hours.  Other sayings in the set are, "Give a girl the correct footwear and whe can conquer the world!  Bette Midler" and "Cinderella is proof that a new pair of shoes can change your life!"  Other sayings are for change of address (a dress, get it??….) and a birthday one.  It's too cute.

Good_witch_bad_witch I love the way the pink looks with the white and eyelet border.  It's just really "girlie," which I'm not – except when it comes to shoes!

Here's the supply list:

Stamp Set:  Humor in High Heels
Ink:  Jet Black StazOn, Rose Red, Watercolor Wonder Crayons
Paper:  Hostess Patterns pack, Card stock:  Pink Pirouette textured, Whisper White, Regal Rose
Accessories:  Scallop Oval Punch (Occasions mini catalog), Large Oval Punch, Eyelet Border punch, Crafter's Tool Kit, 5/16" Jumbo Brads, 2-way glue pen, stampin' dimensionals, aqua painter, Fine Supernova Glitter

This was a fairly uneventful day – except that I'm freezing!  (But that's not news.)  What happened to that lovely spring weather we were having?  The Stampin' Up! demonstrators who achieved the incentive trip are in Hawaii this week.  Doesn't that sound warm and wonderful??  They've gotten some sneak peeks at the new catalog stamp sets and In Colors for 2009-2010.  This year, though, SU! has asked them not to share with those of us back home.  I know a lot of people are disappointed, but I'm really glad.  Last year, we had pictures of the In Colors in March – and by the time we could buy them in June & July, the excitement was lagging.  So now we'll all be surprised together!

Look for the Occasions mini in the next few days.  If you don't get one in the mail, I'll have it online for you.
