Shufflin’ Slow

Wow – I can't believe it's Wednesday already.  What a whirlwind this week has been.

I absolutely love the Golden Oldies set that you'll be able to buy in April.  And even though Sale-a-bration will be over, there's a great Occasions Mini promotion coming.  In the meantime….

I bought a deck of mini cards years ago for something, but never got around to it (whatever it was!).  I'm so glad, though, because they work very well with this set.   I'm not sure if I should give this card to my dad (whose birthday is next week) or my husband (who's not that old, just ditzy).  This guy just doesn't seem to fit Dad, though.  Mostly because I have never seen my dad in flip flops.  Ever.  My dad's a farmer.  Farmers don't wear flip flops.  And he may not appreciate the sentiment, because slowing down really bugs him. Not that I've noticed him slowing down.  So we'll see.

Here's the supply list….

Stamp set: Golden Oldies
Ink:  Jet Black StazOn, Watercolor Wonder Crayons
Paper:  Rockabilly specialty DSP; Real Red, Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black, Kraft card stock; watercolor paper
Accessories:  5/16" jumbo brads; stampin' dimensionals, aqua painter; mini playing cards

I love the new specialty designer series papers we have.  The Rockabilly is glossy.  You can't really see it in the scan, but it's really cool.  It makes it look a little textured.  The other three specialty papers – Parisian Breeze, To the Nines, and Sweet Slumber are textured card stock weight, so you can make boxes, cards or other projects without having to layer them for extra weight and stability.

Don't forget – you only have about 6 more days of Sale-a-bration!  Enjoy free products with each $50 purchase or a $300 workshop.  And if you join Stampin' Up! during SAB, you get a discount on the starter kit, a FREE stamp set from the catalog (your choice), and you can pay for the kit in three monthly installments.  Too cool!  You can e-mail or call me for more information, or log onto my web site.
