I can honestly say I've used all my Sale-a-bration products now! I got Yummy, Polka Dot Punches and the paper and ribbon early – and used them a lot. By the time I added Botanical Blooms and Congrats, I had new Occasions mini stamps and more Big Shot items….too many stamps, too little time. So tonight, I decided to crack open the last two sets. What fun!
This uses the Botanical Blooms as the image and Congrats on the bottom of the Pacific Point card stock. But wait….I have to tell a story.
When Jonathan was about 1 1/2, we had a Ponderosa restaurant in town, and we took him there for special treats. One day, we were seated near the door, and he decided he wanted to crouch down in the booth, and when someone came through the door, he'd jump up and shout, "Surprise!" Of course, we thought it was very cute, but didn't think other patrons would share our opinion, so we distracted him from that idea. But, as someone who does love surprises, here's the surprise in this card for you.
Isn't this fun? The "hinge" is just a brad that's kind of hidden by the ribbon. The inside sentiment is a saying from the Congrats set. This was an idea in Stampin' Success, the monthly stamp magazine demonstrators receive. We'll be making this card at Donna's workshop on the 28th.
