Just one quickie for today. The idea behind this was shown at the Virginia Beach regional this past weekend. I didn't make it to the beach- but I saw a picture. The project at VA Beach was on a "treat" bag – which is what we're doing at a workshop tomorrow – but I also made one into this card.
Isn't he cute? Here's the best part – you don't have to glue those little dots and squares on the snowman face. Here are the details –
Face – 2" Circle Punch (Whisper White)
Behind the face – 1 3/8" Circle Punch (Basic Black)
Punch eyes (1/4" circle punch) and mouth (1/4" square punch) from the white circle and glue the black circle behind it. Cool, huh??
The nose is a square trimmed way down, and the hat is the Word Window punch and 1 1/4" square punch. The flower is a Flower Fusion Too Accents & Elements flower with a silver brad.
The snowflake is from Snow Burst, stamped in Old Olive on Old Olive, and the designer paper is Holiday Treasures. And the sentiment is from Heard from the Heart.
This is a really cute and easy card – and it just felt appropriate this morning when I got up and the house was 67 degrees. BRRRRR! We had our heat pump hooked up in August, but the emergency heat isn't coming on when it gets below 40-something. Guess I'll have to pull out the old instructions tomorrow. (When all else fails….)
