Good news / Bad news

I won't be able to stamp for a few days.  The upside is, now that summer is basically over, our air conditioning is getting repaired.  That's good news!  My stamp room is monstrously hot.  You thought I was doing some awesome watercoloring, but it was really sweat.  Just kidding.  Anyway – the furnace room is in the same room as my stamping corner – and since I annexed the other half of the furnace room and the A/C guys will be in there…..well, there's not room for three.  Not even for two.  And I have a huge rack I keep my stamps and accessories on that I've been informed will have to be moved into my stamp room to get it out of the way of the A/C guys.  (What are they called?  Electric fixer guys are electricians, guys who do plumbing are plumbers, nail driver guys are carpenters….what are A/C techs called?  You'd think I'd know this one since the guys I live with are contractors and helpers.)

If I get a few minutes between workshops and appointments tomorrow, I'll try to post something.  I've been working on a watercolor card with Upsy Daisy.  It's not turning out like I'd like, so I may resort back to watercolor crayons.  Check in and see….If nothing's up, I'm still stumped.

In the meantime, check out the specials we're offering this month.  They're on the right side of the home page – at the top.  Selected sets are 15% off – no purchase necessary!  You can also earn free stamps or select a mini starter kit, if you'd like to become a demonstrator.

If you're in the Winchester area, come to the stamp club Wednesday the 20th at 11 or Saturday the 23rd at 10.  We'll be using Upsy Daisy, Punches Three (hostess set), Sock Monkey (sans monkey), Heard from the Heart, and punches galore – including some new ones.  We'll also make the cool little cupcake box.  Let me know 2 days ahead of time if you're coming so I'll have your supplies.

The Technique club will be meeting next Wednesday (August 27) at 11 a.m. or 6 p.m.  We'll do three more pages in our book using Watercolor crayon resist, faux metal and faux linen.  The cost is $15, and you'll get 2 sanding blocks and your choice of an embossing powder.  It's a lot of fun!  Maybe we can talk Mom into bringing another cheese ball…..

Have a great day!
